FSx is similar to [[EFS]], but for Windows. It's built on Windows server to you can easily move Windows-based applications.
This means it's a managed Windows Server using Windows Server Message Block (SMB). Supports AD users, security policies, etc.
There's also FSx for Lustre. A managed file system useful for high intensity workloads, like ML, AI, HPC, etc. It can also store data directly on S3.
